We hired Allsorts Contracts Ltd to rip out and fit our new Kitchen.

It was in my opinion a pretty big job.  We live in an ex council house and the kitchen after many patched jobs was needing completely ripped out and started from scratch.

We had an old back boiler that needed replaced.  The electrics needed completely redone,  the walls needed re-plastered.

I didn't want the Hassle of organising all the tradesman so we got a few quotes from different companies that offered that service.

Most of the companies came in around the same price but we decided to go with Allsorts Contracts Ltd.  Simply because nothing I wanted to have in my new kitchen was any trouble for them to do.

I wanted the old boiler cupboard boxed in and a new pantry cupboard built I also wanted another cupboard which didn't have any interior walls done to.  The other companies didn't quote me for everything, they wanted to quote me later.

We wanted an all in price and Allsorts gave us that.  There was no hidden or late extras added to the bill unless agreed as I added the extras on.

Throughout the whole job, Stevie and his workman were there overseeing all the tradesman coming in and out my house.

They were all highly skilled and done an excellent job:

• Decorators
• Plumbing and heating engineers
• Joiners

Stevie @ Allsorts Contracts Ltd gave me a quote and a timescale for doing the job and they delivered on both price and time.  Even with my added extras completed the job before they said they would.

I can't recommend Allsorts highly enough they have made the whole process stress free, and given me the kitchen of my dreams.

I first met Stevie Wightman in 2015.  I needed some minor work done in my house, and he was recommended to me by a friend.  I found him personable and accommodating, and was happy to give him the job, which at that time was a mixture of smaller pieces of work which probably amounted to the equivalent of 2 days work.  It included repairing a back gate, shelving a new storage area, and replacing single glass with a double glazed unit in original back door to retain character.

I found Stevie and his team to be hard working, conscientious, and a pleasure to be around. 

We were so pleased with his work that we subsequently engaged him to carry out more major works in 2016 and 2017, including replacement double glazing units upstairs; replacement internal doors throughout the house; creating a double door between lounge and kitchen/dining room; installing a new family bathroom (which included moving the existing access); and installing a sliding door wardrobe in the main bedroom.

We were very happy with the way Stevie approached each job, and equally happy with the end result. He has an eye for detail. We left him to source any other professional required, e.g. plasterer, plumber, electrician.

It is also worth noting that we have found anyone Stevie has brought to our house to have the same hard working and pleasant approach as he has.
